Jacquie Lawson: virtual cards that stand out!

Jacquie Lawson

Since the beginning of the Internet, several websites have offered virtual greeting cards, perfect to send a quick note to a loved one celebrating a birthday or a special event. But when we are looking for a little more special card, we don’t always find what we want on these platforms. Browsing the web, we can bump into other options that suit us better, like the Jacquie Lawson e-cards!

On her website, this English artist offers a beautiful range of animated and musical greeting cards (over 300!) for all occasions. Living in the picturesque village of Lurgashall in southern England, Jacquie Lawson has a style of her own that is reflected in her works, combining the British charm, the atmosphere of old English houses, animals and countryside. Jacquie herself lives in a fifteenth-century cottage with her companion and their cats and dogs.

Each card takes several weeks and even months to be realized. Some details are painted by hand before being scanned into electronic format and each music is studied to match the animation. A work that makes the creations of Jacquie Lawson really unique!

This very talented artist also prepares an annual Advent calendar on a chosen theme (Christmas Market, Victorian …) and other surprises to brighten our day like screensavers and the “Jacquie Lawson Circus” that we can install on our desktop. A nice idea to take a break from work a few minutes a day!

You can buy each product individually at low cost, but a subscription is also available for one year (€10.00/$14.00 CAD). A very interesting option to send unlimited cards all year long, an Advent calendar in bonuses!
